Getting ready for the Vive arriving tomorrow!

Given I ordered end of March and I had a shipping date sometime in May, I was rather surprised to receive an email the other day saying my order had been shipped. I've been anxiously tracking it on DHL, it's been in the country a few days waiting for delivery tomorrow / after the May Bank Holiday.

Other than a slight hiccup - it went from Heathrow to Gatwick sorting facility, before being sent back to Heathrow for an unknown reason - I'm hopefully getting it tomorrow Biggrin

I've been amassing quite a collection of games in anticipation, trading in PS4 games for Steam credit and spending it accordingly. I'm still a few games short of everything I want (hoping for a discount on Universe Sandbox 2) and I'm not counting the "free" Rift games we can apparently play on the Rift. Or the Vive Minecraft mod. Those will all come later. As of right now, I'm sat on all these, waiting for tomorrow (please be tomorrow!).

I'm not sure how I managed to get all of them, that's a huge list.... and probably barely a "proper game length" combined, but right now VR is all about the experience Biggrin

In order to ensure I don't end up putting the controller, or my head, through the wall mounted TV, I spent a bit of time knocking together a very rudimentary wooden TV cover out of off-cuts. It's not perfect and I need to brace it more along the top, looks like the screws could give way, but for now it's good enough. The hardwood bends if you hit it, but should be enough protection. Better than nothing.

Right, ready to go for tomorrow. I just to get a quick half day off work, and hope the Heathrow return is some kind of cock-up that won't delay things....
